Can anyone give me and opinions or any Advice please and thank you

So my boyfriend currently told me his friend (it’s a girl I got nothing against it and no it’s not jealousy) texted him after like not talking in probably a few year or so she only texts him on his bday to wish him happy birthday and other stuff but apparently I was wrong. He told me that she texted him telling him that his boyfriend broke up with her.. and he told me so I wouldn’t get jealous. But my concern is that I don’t get why she texted him just to tell him that her boyfriend had broken up with her and also he has been texting with her non stop like he wakes up and he txting with her and goes to bed and still texting her should I be concerned? Help please!!!! 😫 🤔 🤨

I don’t text nobody I got no male friends for that reason and I don’t talk no guy because I don’t need to you know
