Requesting to be induced?

I’m 39w4d and so far, no real signs of baby coming. Last week I was 2cm and 80%, which wasn’t any progress from the week before. At that appointment, my OB said that if I was still pregnant this week, we’d discuss how long they’ll let me go before scheduling an induction.

Well, my next appointment is tomorrow, and I’m absolutely miserable at this point. Due to low iron and low blood pressure, I’m getting extremely dizzy and lightheaded multiple times a day to the point where I have to just sit down wherever I’m at or I feel like I’ll pass out, and honestly, I’m just in a lot of pain. I go to bed around 11pm and usually lay there until 2-3 almost in tears from how bad it hurts when baby girl moves. I honestly feel guilty for wanting to ask my doctor to go ahead and schedule an induction tomorrow, and I’m not sure she would even do it. I just don’t know if I can handle being in so much pain for another week or two.

So I guess my question is, is it wrong for asking my doctor to go ahead and schedule a date, and will most doctors even allow that since it’s technically not medically necessary?
