Membrane Sweep - Advice Please!

Hi all x

I am 40+5 today and had my midwife appointment where they were going to see if I could have a membrane sweep. My cervix is still really high so I couldn’t have it done - she even made me sit on my fists and nothing :(

What do people suggest me doing? Apparently I am not relaxed enough but I was under the impression to keep busy and active! I am due to be induced on Christmas Day and feeling very exhausted and uncomfortable now. Any advice or positive stories to bring on labour naturally would be fab to hear!
