My love life

Okay so I really need some advice on this stuff. So if you can help me that would be great.

I have been in love with my best friend for five years now. We had been on and off and then finally I told him that I was still in love with him and he said it back. While he was at a different school then me he met this girl I’m going to call her Julia to keep her identity from being shared anyways. My BFF and I’s mutual friend let’s call him Jack liked me and wanted to date me so he told my best friend that I was just going to use him and not to choose me. He said some other stuff that I am not going to repeat so my best friend choose Julia and let me tell you I was heart broken because I didn’t know why he would say he loved me and then choose her.

But the relationship between the two of them is not ending well what so ever she cancels on him when they make plans and she doesn’t really hang out with him all together. My best friend and I found out when talking to each other why he didn’t choose me and it was because of jack because he is a snake. When I confronted him he told me that he would make me happier and all of this other stuff. (This guy is not the greatest friend kinda causes a lot more drama then there needs to be) anyway so I am going to fast forward

I took a bus to get back home from school to go study because my parents didn’t want me to drive. Yeah I know so dumb but it’s whatever. But when I got back to my home town it was almost one in the morning and no one was answering except for my best friend who i told him that my parents weren’t answering and that my Uber wasn’t working and that I was going to be stranded because my phone was going to die. So he has me on snap maps and he told me that he was coming to get me. Not ten minutes later my parents call me to tell me that they are on their way to get me so I had to quickly text my best firmed to not get me but he told me that he was almost there. He was also leaving to go out of two with Julia and wanted to see m. So I told him to just come by my house and I would run outside and say hi to him. Which I did but things didn’t do according to plan.

Okay so when I saw him I ran into his arms and he picked me up and spun me around it was so cute. But we got into his car because it was cold outside and we started to talk and then he goes “oh I need to get you back for embarrassing me” he then starts tickling me and then when I am in his arms “I missed you so much” I said it back and then next thing I know is he is tickling me again and this time he is in between my legs and we are nose to nose and so I turn my face away from his put he then moved my face and kisses me and then we keep kissing and then some how he climbs over to my seat and gets me sitting on his lap. I then pull away and asked about Julia and he said “our relationship is practically over.” And then he kissed me again but I was a little more hesitant. He then pulls me closer and says “I could stay like this forever.” Which made me have butterflies in my stomach. Then his mom called him and I had to get out of the car so he would be able to go back home. I then text him asking him what that kiss meant and he said “it means that I still love you.”

He then goes on the trip with her and she isn’t posting anything with him nor him and then he tells her about what happened and she was mad at him but then forgave him and then now it is awkward between them and they are going to work stuff out but they got into a fight today about some stupid shit and he is telling me all of his relationship stuff on top of that he and her haven’t broken up.

So now I am just more confused then EVER
