Lots of questions that need answers!

I have been ttc since June when I took the birth control out of my arm. I have had normal periods since then. This last period (oct7-10) was a lot of cramping and clots I even went to dr thinking it was miscarriage, and it wasn't. My go week was this past week and everything has been smooth until today I am getting some creamy CM and I'm seeing where people are saying not fertile, and so forth...so what exactly does that mean? Like I'm not fertile? Or I already ovulated?
