40 weeks + 5 Days contractions should I go?

40 weeks + 5 days. Contractions started a little before bed and woke me up around 3:00am a little stronger.. I can breathe through them but I have a 50 minute drive to the hospital... do I go now? How long do I wait? This is my 2nd baby. Contractions averaging about 6 minutes and 30 seconds apart.

Go in! I lived the same distance with my first and only labored 5.5 hours!

Call your hospital 1st & see what they want you to do but if your hospital is almost an hour away it might be best to just go in. Even if your contractions don’t pick up on the way they might just keep you & have you walk around to pick up labor

Go in I’d say because but the time you get everything and get going you’d be there after an hour 1-1/2 hours so it most likely will start to intensify by then
