Straight forward second birth?

Question

Anyone who had a traumatic birth first time around have a straight forward second birth? Really want a second but I couldn’t ever go through a traumatic birth like that again..

Yes! My birth was my first was traumatic. It’s been six years and I still look back and discuss with my husband with incredulity what happened.
But my second? Wonderful. Seven hours start to finish, only 2-3 pushes. Such a different experience. Second dr was a dream versus the horror show birthing team I had with my first.

My first was a 56hr labor and she was to big she got stuck twice and broke my tailbone 
My second pregnancy I was very worried but I did not have a hard pregnancy like I did with my first pain wise 
I ended up having a 26hr labor and he was 2lbs smaller and came out in 3 pushes 
This pregnancy I’ve had so much pain like my first so I have alot of anxiety from it but I’m hoping we’ll go smoothly

It was the opposite for me. My first birth was 14 hrs, uncomplicated, unmedicated, pushed for maybe 20 min/6 pushes. My 2nd I was induced ( had both my kiddos at 41+1). It was a 4 hr labor, unmedicated - 5 min push time but in that 5 min my little guy got stuck in my pelvic bone and his arm broke when my midwife had to help maneuver him out :( he was 8 lbs 15oz. He’s 3 months and all healed up now 😊 I was told by my midwife that if I were to get pregnant again they wouldn’t want me going over 39 weeks bc when something like this happens it’s more likely to happen again. I already knew I was done having kids though- my partner just got a vasectomy a month ago 🙌🏻

Mine wasnt super traumatic but my sons head got stuck on my pelvic bone and I got really overheated which stressed him out and he pooped inside and swallowed it. He was born not breathing and got swept over to a bed with 5 nurses working on him. He ended up just fine 😁 I’m currently 7 weeks and so afraid for that to happen again. I really wish I could have had that crying baby on your chest right after birth experience instead of just staring at my husband scared waiting to hear a cry.
