Should the name calling/ nicknames bother me?

A few weeks ago, my bf and I got in a big fight which resulted in him calling me a "whore" and "stupid". Not the first time he has called me something like that before.

Now, he is calling me little nicknames like "my little sausage" or "little whale" or when I was pregnant, he called me "baby hippo". He keeps doing it. I told him it's not funny and to stop, but he got mad at me for being upset over it. He goes "oh my god I cant even joke around with you without you getting butthurt".

I'm sorry but I feel like those should make me mad? Especially because he says it in front of our daughter. What do you guys think??
