For momma's who started their baby on purees

How much baby food do you give them and how often throughout the day? I give my five month old son a 7 ounce bottle in the morning then after 40 minutes I give him roughly 2 ounces of baby food. Then I give him two more bottles during the day. Then after his 4th bottle I read him a book and give him 2 more ounces of baby food. I then rock him to sleep and put him to bed for the night. Is this too much or not enough? He also has his two bottom front teeth.
