We got pregnant naturally after almost 3 years trying. I even took a couple of fertility medications my doctor prescribed and they didn’t end up working. The month I got pregnant was the month where I pretty much gave up on TTC altogether, we had sex once (outside of my fertile window too) and ended up pregnant! I didn’t do anything other than have normal sex

We tried for about a year and a half when my ob tested my thyroid function and discovered I have hoshimotos, an autoimmune thyroid thing. One month after being on thyroid hormone replacement we conceived naturally!  We are expecting a girl in April 2020!

Both? I was seeing a fertility doctor, and we did all the tests and clomid. Nothing worked. We didn’t want to do IUI or IVF. I got pregnant on my own after basically giving up.

8 years. 12 rounds of fertility treatments. Negative tests every month. We finally decided to stop. We needed a break mentally, physically and emotionally.

We took time for us and just enjoyed ourselves.

The last round of fertility treatments was June 2019. I had a regular cycle July 2019.

August 2019 my cycle was late but I didn’t think anything of it because I have PCOS. Well end of August we found out we are expecting.

We went to the drs to make sure everything was okay and we found out it’s twins!!

We found out a few weeks ago we are having boy/girl twins Due April 2020 they will be here 4 days after my husbands birthday (scheduled c-section)

April 2018, my boyfriend ended up with testicular cancer and had one of his testicles removed. We decided that was the month we would start our journey TTC! (Even though we were not being careful before then. We both wanted children and would accept getting pregnant if it were to happen.) For a few months, we just kind of winged it, and nothing happened. We started taking vitamins to aid in fertility for a few months. Nothing. About 6 months in to our journey, I started using OPK strips. I feel like I got the hang of it after three or four months and tried to stay positive that each month would be our month! Come around to 14 months into TTC and I would get devastated at each period. I thought it wasn’t going to happen for us.. I consulted a doctor and she ordered an ultrasound for us (I was getting positive OPK’s so I assumed I was mid ovulation or just about to my peak day). The ultrasound showed some mature follicles in my right ovary (YAY)! I WAS ovulating. She decided since I was overweight (which I had been trying to lose weight to get pregnant) she would help me with that as our first step in conceiving, before starting fertility medication. Me and my boyfriend did the baby dance the day before peak ovulation, the day of, and the day after (which we had never done all three days in a row like that)! We went on a vacation that weekend and I drank and was not thinking of a baby at the time. I just wanted to enjoy each other and forget about TTC for awhile. On our way home from vacation, I got very car sick. I’d never been car sick a day in my life.  A week later, my period was a day late. We were pregnant, at last! I am 35 weeks on Sunday. TTC is extremely emotional and I choose to share our journey to give some hope to others that it can happen ❤️ sorry to post such a long response but for anyone who has gone through it, knows it’s a long, hard road when you’re finally ready. I had to go through fertility treatments with my daughter. I had a previous miscarriage and a chemical before my daughter. I got pregnant on my second medicated IUI. She is now 11 months and I am 12 weeks pregnant with #2 naturally.
