Partner yelled at baby

We had a long talk about how yelling at baby is never the way to deal with things.

He knows now that I mean it when I said to wake me up if he needs help. And that if I’m not around he can put baby in the crib and take a minute to compose himself.

We’d already been over this but I think bc he hadn’t experienced the frustration he didn’t take it in.

I posted right after it happened so was angry and upset but I’m not going to hold a one off against him.

He was very remorseful that it happened

My partner usually has baby 9-10 so I can get a little extra sleep.

I heard Bub crying so I came in to find him yelling at baby to shut up.

I’m heartbroken that my baby was treated this way.

I had complete trust in my partner and now I don’t want to leave him alone with him.

It was a getting in his face kind of yell. It was a one off thing though and I can tell he felt bad about it.
