Constant period like cramps, labor??

I’m 38w 5d, been having period like cramping since 6am (about 2hrs) i believe I had one contraction about a hour ago, my stomach got super tight for about 30 seconds. The pain/cramp is starting to go down my left inner thigh on and off. Anyone experienced this, could it be baby time soon? Last night me and my bf had sex I had a little cramping afterwards than felt fine when I went to bed.
