When do you start transfer baby from formula to milk

My son is now 10 months old loves food and eats a lot so I’m wondering what everyone else does!! When do you start adding milk to there formula bottle to transfer them to milk!? Also we have a cousin that has goats and is willing to give me goat milk for couple months til she can’t anymore, should I go that way?

We had been told to start introducing around 10/11 months. But our son had been having yogurt and cheese before then.

We never mixed formula and milk. We introduced small amounts of whole milk at probably 7 or 8 months or so and did away with formula altogether by 11 months (we spent a week replacing her various formula feedings with a cup of whole milk one at a time until all feedings had been removed). As for the type of milk, we always used regular cow's milk Whole milk preferred. The fat content is really helpful and important for their brain development.

I started offering an ounce or two around ten months every couple of days. She responded just fine to it so I gradually increased how much she got in a day. By 1 she was up to like 10oz a day. Now she’s 13 months and drinks 15oz of milk, 10ish oz of water and nurses before bedtime.

12 months is the earliest ive been told. This is mainly because of how the baby's digestive system is. My little cousin ended up only being able to drink a certain type of milk because regular milk would constipate him so bad to where he had to get an enema.
