“That’s not how my mom makes it”

Every single time .

My husband of almost 5 years is the biggest whiner ever.

I spend 2-3 hours everyday cooking for his whiney ass and when I ask him how the food is he’s always like “that’s not how my mom makes it, she’s makes it so good”

And when I ask so Is this not good? “No it’s good, but not how my mom makes it”

Like seriously , every single day. I wasn’t born a cook and I definitely wasn’t interested in cooking but I still started learning when we got married because he prefers home cooked food .

I just wish he would appreciate the fact that I spend 3 hours cooking while I have two toddlers literally stuck to my legs .

I’m not your mom.

No woman has the same exact way of making food. And your mom has 30+ years experience of cooking while I have like 3 years maybe .

Bringing me down by always saying that doesn’t boost up my motivation to cook for you everyday.

Side note: I made chicken Manchurian and egg fried rice today and I asked him how is it his complaint was the chicken got “soft” it’s not crispy anymore . (I fried the crispy chicken for the manchurain)

Well you came home late unless you wanted to eat cold food I would’ve never heated it up 😐
