Spoiled baby???

Question

My baby is barely 4 months old. 4 MONTHS old. He is still a brand new human!!!!!!! Everyone seems to forget this and constantly tells me I am spoiling my baby by giving him the attention, time, and care that he REQUIRES.. 
Seriously??? 
The first few times people were joking around, but now people are actually telling me to STOP "spoiling" my baby! 
What am I supposed to do? Leave him alone in a room to just cry and scream? That is TERRIBLE. Am I supposed to just ignore him??? Let him just lay there and play by himself all day??? 
He. Does. Not. Understand. Life. Yet.
Just so done with people using that phrase when they have no clue what they are talking about 🙄🙄🙄🙄

People like this really annoy me 🙄🙄 like really? No you can’t spoil a baby they need love and attention so why wouldn’t you give it to them? Don’t listen to them and just love on
Your baby as much as you can my baby is now 9 months old and is little miss independent and doesn’t like to be held much now 😭😭

Older people used to tell me that all the time when my son was a newborn. He’s a happy, loving 15 month old now and everyone always comments on how sweet he is. I guess that’s the horrible effect of “spoiling” your child 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

I don't believe infants can be spoiled. Its not like the infant can form coherent sentences. They instinctively cry until their needs are met. Scared to think of what those who think giving into the crying are "spoiling" them did to their children when they cried. To a certain point, that deprivation becomes abusive and negligent

My baby just turned five months old. I learned a LOT from my first and I wish I hadn’t let stupid comments like “are you being NICE to that baby?!?! You’re spoiling him!” get to me. You can’t spoil a child by loving them. Full stop.

Yeah no that's BS. My son was a super needy grumpy crying newborn and I doted on him hand and foot (as I SHOULD) and now he's a happy, sweet child with such a lovely disposition and I 100% believe it is in part because he knows I have his back.
