Talking to my mum while she’s completely ignoring me pisses me off so much 😢

I’m so jealous of girls that have a close relationship with their mother without even trying. I don’t even trust to say a secret to my mum as she will not be supportive of it or will go and say it to my overprotective father or my grandmother and then everyone will know. Thank God I have my sister at least.

At the moment I have really important things going on in my life (ie. University applications, interviews, prom) and I’m here talking with no response, no help, doing moves on my own.

We were in the kitchen and I was talking and talking and talking, and when I asked her a question I realized that she was not listening as she ignored the question completely. After that I stopped talking and waited just in case she has heard the question and was thinking about it while doing what she was busy doing, but all I got as a response after a while of silence was “I’m going to the restroom”. It’s really heartbreaking. I feel alone and lost, I have no support. Whenever she hears the question, most of the time her answer is “I don’t know” or “Ask your dad”.

I think I’ll rely on this app for any other issues or questions I have as in real life nobody can help me.
