Long..but need advice please!

Okay ladies.. so after being on my bcp for 7 years I quit in may to start ttc... ever since july my cycles have only been about 10-16 days apart... well THEN on October 12 I was diagnosed with PCOS... so my dr prescribed me metformin to start taking Wednesday October 14 for 30 days.. and also prescribed prometrium to take from cycle days 14-28 (starting the 21st of October) well so on october 10 before I even knew I had pcos i had a positive ovulation test. . And also had a positive ovulation test on October 21st.. my last "period" was from october 3-7 all just light brown spotting. And I haven't had a period since.. so bottom line my question is does prometrium and metformin DELAY period or does it induce period? Any ladies have anything similar happen to them?
