IUD question

This might be a TMI moment but For though if you that have had IUD have you ever had a problem with spotting most of the month or after sex. I'm not sure if this is a go to the doctor thing or something common I have the Mariana IUD have had it for a little over a year and have always had some spotting problems every month I would get a period but it was never in the same place in the month. Now I seam to spot after sex some times it never then others it dose not hurt just period like cramps any one have similar experience
