Does she even still want to be friends?

So I've had a best friend who ive never had an issue with. We were always super close and both of us were pretty active in communicating with each other. We go to schools on opposite ends of the country so we cant see each other often but that was never a problem.

She startes acting different during this past semester, would never send messages first, leave me on read, one word replies, but yet i would watch as she actively communicated with others on social media. She started hanging out with new people and would respond to them but not to me and i didnt want to be mean but i brought up the issue...

She told me that others had told her she was being a shitty friend as well but i didn't buy that excuse and we got into an argument.... eventually we both apoligized

But she said she needed time to recover from hurting me and because she was also hurt by what i said... but its been almost a month and she still continues to talk to others and not say anything to me. I made it clear i would not be reaching out first to give her space, but now i feel like maybe she just said that to let me off easy and doesnt want to be friends anymore?

I just dont know what to do or think because i feel like I've been replaced. Maybe im just stupid for waiting for her to come back. I really still want to be friends but i just dont think she even wants to anymore
