Why are people rude?

Sitting down with my husbands family and my sil says wow your huge-you sure it isnt twins. His aunt said wow you are giant. His grandma asked me how much I weighed.
Ummm I'm literally having a baby in ONE WEEK.  I'm carrying an entire baby 🙄

Sorry that happened to you! I think people forgot how many changes happens happen when women are pregnant and I’m sure they didn’t look like super models when pregnant. I’d definitely mention that is rude to say those types of things to a pregnant women. I think friends and family try to crack jokes not realizing we are basically due and don’t care for the pregnancy fat jokes. 😑
