Hot to start IVF

Any tips for starting the journey of IVF. Doctor told us at our appointment today that that will be our next step. Husband has low sperm count and they can't find a reason. She said some people just have low counts. She did give us clomid as a trial but I don't have high hopes for it because it's supposed to help people that have low testosterone, which he doesn't have. How do we go about setting the IVF journey and wrapping our head around a $10,000+ treatment. How does anyone pay for that straight out of pocket? Any tips helpful! I am so stressed.
