Does your spouse/partner kiss you children on the lips?

My husband refused to kiss our daughter on the lips. Sometimes it makes me feel really sad for our daughter because she doesn’t understand why mommy will give her kisses and daddy turns away. I don’t know why but it breaks my heart. Of course he’ll kiss her on the cheek but still. To each their own I guess.

My baby is 9 months old and I won’t even kids her in the lips and I won’t allow anyone else to either 🤷🏼‍♀️ but I grew up kissing my family members on the lips and looking back now it makes me cringe cause all the germs

No, but it's not really a cultural norm where I live to kiss children on the lips so most people that I know don't do it.

My son is 16 months old and me or my partner haven't kissed him on the lips. I'm not for it or against it, if you kiss or dont kiss your child on the lips that is up to you. We just dont as I dont feel the need to. I grew up kissing family members on the lips and I hated it that I didnt have a say and that's just 'how it was'. Maybe one day we may kiss our child on the lips, who knows. But for now I'm loving kissing his cheeky cheeks and forehead. We have also told family to strictly not kiss him on the lips as they certainly do not have any need or rights too and plus all of the germs.

We don’t kiss our daughter on the lips, nobody does. We chose not to because of all the germs and things that could be passed onto her.

My boyfriend will. He’s 1. Now I will not because I think of germs. However I won’t stop his dad for showing his son affection.

He doesn't, but he let's our youngest kiss him on the lips (16 months). My oldest is at that age where she doesn't really kiss on the lips anymore, but it did make him feel uncomfortable when she used to (maybe because she isn't biologically his and it felt wrong to him).
