Period in pill?

Hey ladies! I started taking my birth control pill on November 10th. I’m on the second pack but my period doesn’t line up with the sugar pills. I have 5 more sugar pills left of this pack but my period doesn’t start for another 5 days. People told me I took the pill wrong but I started exactly when the doctor said and haven’t missed a pill.

So is my period suppose to match when I’m supposed to take the sugar pills? Or is it okay that when my period starts I’ll be on a new pack and not taking the sugar pills? I get my period every month at the beginning of every month. So I don’t know if it’s okay if it doesn’t match up
