Baby after uterine rupture

I have a 2 year old boy and a 7 week old baby! My delivery of baby wasn’t straight forward at all, I was rushed in at 36+6 for an emergency c section due to uterine rupture and baby’s heart rate dropping rapidly. He ended up in nicu for 2 weeks due to a hole in his right lung and he was struggling to maintain his own oxygen levels so was super reliant on help.

He’s been doing so amazing since we’ve been home, he is the most content baby I’ve ever known. Now here’s the problem.

I already want another baby!

My own baby is making me soo broody that I literally want another straight away 😅 my husband isn’t so keen 😂. However because of the rupture obviously it’s not safe for me to have another baby so soon, but I’m not even sure if I’ll be able to have another baby because of this and it’s heartbreaking.

What I really wanted to know is if you’ve had a uterine rupture before, were you able to have more children? If so how long did you have to wait? Did you have to deliver earlier after just incase?

I don’t want to rule out anymore children, so would like to here experiences!
