I’m feeling a bit stuck. I’m due in June. My husband makes $33,000 a year and I make about $45,000. You’d think we could afford childcare, but daycare centers are upwards of $1,000 a month for only 3 days a week near me. We could just barely make it work with all of our other basic expenses (rent is $1,350). What are my options? I wish I could have a nanny but that would be almost half of my income. We really don’t want to work opposite schedules.
