So, for months I’ve always had a thing for this guy, and I never showed any feeling towards him whatsoever, until I found out that him and his girlfriend were broken up.

He made it clear to everyone that he was no longer with this girl. Therefore, he claimed he was “single”

The feeling was mutual to hangout and so we did, and it was great! We talked a lot about what we like & had conversations of substance. But then, the day after I felt like he could care less.

He then started to tell me that him and his “girlfriend/ex girlfriend” were trying to work and figure things out, even though she lied to him, cheated on him, and well, even confronted him that she did in fact cheat on him. He told me that they were going to work things through. He also told me to not wait for him. So is that just a clear indication that he doesn’t want me? He told me he felt mutual in some way, when I poured my feelings out to him, of how I’ve always liked him.

I feel vulnerable & confused. I told him I would wait for him, because I know as a person that he doesn’t deserve someone like that, but is sadly blinded by this girl. I thought I could potentially be with him, but all my hopes were crushed.

So I’m questioning, is it worth waiting for someone like him, who feels blinded by a girl who cheats on him? Or is he just as ridiculous as her?
