Gunky eye

Bub is 6 weeks old and had her vax yesterday. Tonight my partner noticed that her eye was a little gunky. We cleaned it with a wet cotton ball (we usually do this every shower/ bath time) and waking up for her middle of the night feed it looks like it’s a little more gunky.

Is this normal? Have I not washed my hands properly before and after bum changes? Could this be because of the vax and I need to wait it out?

I’ve tried to book into my doctor but it’s the weekend.

I’m going to try soaking a cotton ball in breast milk and dapping that on her eye too.
