Am I a bad person? 😂

I am 16 weeks, and have the hardest time sleeping, it takes me at least an hour to get comfortable enough to sleep. When my husband gets off he climbs in bed and makes it impossible to sleep. He lays ON me, he snores, he squishes me into the edge of the bed and I just can’t sleep anymore. Am I wrong or rude for climbing in the other bed when it becomes too much ?

No. I eventually kicked my husband out of the bed lol.

My husband has been sleeping in the guest room majority of my pregnancy. I get extremely uncomfortable in bed anytime he moves and I’m already a light sleeper as it is. So being pregnant has magnified the already pre-existing bedtime issues we’ve had lol. My husband has voluntarily slept in the other room though. Partly because he was sick half of my first trimester, and then because of my discomfort as well. When I’m uncomfortable, he’s uncomfortable and can’t sleep either. So he moves. It kind of sucks sometimes but then again it’s important for us both to get our sleep. Rest is important while pregnant, and my husband needs rest because he wakes up at 4am for work during the week.

I sleep on a different bed then my boyfriend. It’s mostly cus our regular bed is v firm and is no support for the bump, even with a body pillow it’s uncomfortable. Lucky enough to have a soft bed I can use that is perfect

Once I was larger, I slept in our spare bed a lot. We both slept better.

I spent quite a bit of my pregnancy sleeping on our spare bed. I couldn't get comfortable and I wanted my husband to be able to sleep as well. Worked well for us.
