Going all natural vs epidural

Am I any less of a women because I choose/chose to get an epidural as soon as the contractions became painful?

Am I any less if a mother for choosing an epidural to continue with laboring and giving birth because the pain was excruciating for months up to this point?

Am I any less a women for choosing no pain meds, and no epidural for wanting to feel and endure the pain of giving birth?

Am I any less of a mother for wanting to feel myself after birth?

Personally I've had two children. Each time induced. Both times I've had an epidural either right before my water broke or a little after.

I keep seeing these women posting about natural birth and I love that you were able to do that. But for myself, on top of being induced, I had the worse pregnancies. My pregnancies, including this third, I had placenta previa, sciatic nerve beginning in early pregnancy, hip displaysia, pelvic girdle pain, low amniotic fluid. I know some women have it worse but I'm just saying I chose to not be in pain for the whole time I had to lay in a bed, connected to monitors, and pitocin and iv fluids. Because I knew my final moments shouldn't be in agonizing pain that I've endured already for months.

I also see this post about women having epidurals and bashing those that didn't. Like I previously stated. Epidurals for whatever your reason is TOTALLY normal and OKAY. They were created for a reason. But doesn't mean it's okay to shit on another women, saying she's flaunting or whatever because she went naturally. I'm sure going all natural is every women's dream and some just can't do that. I'm one of those women's.

Now how did you give birth? Good and bad. And I hope we can all lift each other up for their decision. Birth no matter how it played out is BEAUTIFUL!
