How do you deal with racism

I have had to deal with alot of racism where I live due to our interracial marriage. Last night my nieghbors called me a nigger several times on camera and tried to fight my husband. They said I'm just with a white guy for his money.They have made our lives miserable calling the copa banging on the walls doing anything they can to provoke. The cops aren't helpful at all. I know I'm not then only one to deal with this . I'm so upset I feel disgusted I feel like my rights have been violated. What can I do? Last night after it happened I went into a deep depression.
