Should I date him? My bestfriend .

( Also know parents are fully aware of my situation:) So long story short I met my bestfriend feb 1st 2019 and we have talked almost everyday , FaceTiming, texting, calling, and we both love eachother very much. Once he turned 18 ( we are two years apart) he joined the navy, and we still talk about everyday and FaceTime as long as we can. He told me , hes to marry me one day, and he loves me very much but won’t pressure me to do anything, so we’ve been Bestfriend’s ! And it’s amazing! We sent each-other Christmas gifts, gifts, cards, just little nothings.

I’ve been thinking very hard , because he said he would date me in a heartbeat and treat me amazing, he was raised ( very gentleman like) he calls me beautiful, helps me with my problems , we talk , we vent.

So I’ve been thinking about just saying screw ir and dating him! I was wanting to wait because I’m scared that if things don’t work out I’ll loose my bestfriend forever , and what if long distance is too hard?

But I realized if we truly love each Other and work with this and communicate? We can truly make this an amazing relationship!

Please give me some advice, should I do it?!

( he also plans on seeing me next leave-time in June!)
