Who to believe !?

Question

My midwife checked me and told me I was soft and half a centimeter dilated??? Then I was in the hospital last night and a nurse said I was closed and my cervix was thick 🤦🏼‍♀️?  I won’t be checked again until a 38 or 39 week appointment

Sounds gross but it depends on who’s checking you and how big/small their fingers are. When I was in labor with my daughter I got told I was at a 1 .. then got checked another time by a different doctor and was told I could barely be considered a 1. It sucked .. I’d get excited and either go up or down in dilation depending on who checked me 🤣
