Should I just expect I’ll be induced again?

Question

My first pregnancy I was induced at 42+2 and my second I was induced at 41 weeks. I’m pregnant with my third now and I would love to experience going into labor on my own, but I’m almost expecting I’ll have to be induced again. Anybody who has had multiple babies ever been induced and then was able to go into labor naturally the next time? Should I also expect to go overdue again?

I'm 39 weeks 4 days and my doctor and I are making an induction plan on Tuesday.  
This is my first.  I was really hoping my son would come out on his own but I guess not.

Unless you and your provider at willing to wait for labor, with your previous inductions you are probably a long gestator. Meaning outside the normal range of pregnancy, I am a 10 month momma took and as long as there is nothing health wise wrong I continue pregnancy until it starts naturally even if it takes till 43 weeks.

I mean, with that trend, maybe you'd go on your own at 40 weeks. 🤷‍♀️ Unfortunately there's no way to know until you're there. I wish you luck!

I have 4 kids and unfortunately never went into labor on my own! It's so frustrating!  But you really never know. My own dr (who was my dr all 4 pregnancies) really really thought I was going to go into labor with my 4th and said my past pregnancies shouldn't matter. Nope lol
