Is labor nearing?!?

36 weeks weeks & 2 days today.  I've pooped 5x today...is that a sign I will go into labor soon?? Also baby was weighing almost 9 pounds on ultrasound. I just want some Insight as I'm in so much pain.

The day before i started having contractions with my son i had extreme back pain (have a previous injury) to the point i could barely walk then that night I had diarrhea and started having contractions at 330a.

I do have gestational diabetes so I'm assuming just a big baby.

Not necessarily. The further along you get, the less accurate baby’s weight on the ultrasound becomes. They can be off 3-4 pounds in either direction. Diarrhea could be from something you ate, or just hormones.

I’m 36 wks and 3 days and I’ve had some diarrhea the past two days... I’ve just been chalking it up to hormones ranging 🤷🏽‍♀️.
