When is the appropriate age to have a baby?

I’m 21 & will be 22 soon, I live on my own & I don’t have any children but I have been thinking bout babies a lot more than usually (Lol). I’m not a partying type of person, all I do is go to work & come back home. I’ve noticed majority of my grad class have or has children already. I was wanting to know a good age to start? Why?

I don’t think there is an “appropriate age” I think 15 is too young though. I got pregnant at age 20. I’m glad I had my boys “young” they made me want to try harder in life. Could I be further in life if I hadn’t gotten pregnant at 20? Probably but if I was able to go back in time I wouldn’t change the fact that I had my children when I did.

There is not right time. I would say when you can financially and emotionally handle being a parent. There’s great parents of all different ages but I would say late 20s is what is ideal in my opinion. Usually by then you have enough life experience but also are still on the younger side.

I waited until 31. I am glad I did, I see so many women struggling who started younger....not everyone but you can see it on this app. I was able to finish college, I served 10 years in the military. I travelled. Bought my home. Got married. I also found adult friends and hobbies. I dont think I would of been able to get my life as established if I had started younger. That being said I wanted to start at 25 but my husband convince me to wait and I was so angry at him for those first couple of years. But looking back I'm so glad we did.

I’m 32, just had my first and glad I waited so long. My husband and I have been together for 8 years. We have travelled and enjoyed our time as just a family of two. We are financially stable and have matured a lot which I think is giving our daughter a nice peaceful home to grow up in.

There’s no appropriate age in my opinion. Some 30 year old adults still are immature and have no business having a child (trust me, I kno a few people like this). Some (ok a lot lmao) of 20 year olds aren’t ready for a kid. I got pregnant at 20 with my son and fell pregnant again with my daughter 8 months pp. I thought I was ready when I was pregnant with my son, and I was completely wrong. I was never the partier type, always a home body. But being a parent is HARD AS FUCK, no matter the age.

I think once you’re out of high school and have a job and way to support a child. I don’t think there’s really any set age that makes you ready because a 19 year old could be a bit better suited to be a mom than a 32 year old just depending on life circumstances.

I got pregnant after I got married like we were married may 5 and I found out I was pregnant in June so.....I was 18 when we married and 19 when I gave birth to my big boy! He’s 1 now! So I’d say so long as your financially stable, mentally stable and your relationship is stable be marriage or dating or whatever you can have a baby! Just know it’s A LOT OF WORK!! But completely worth it!!! I love my boy and I love my husband! So it worked out well!

I agree, is there an appropriate age? 
I tell people to generally wait bc your wants and desires change throughout life. Can you financially support baby alone? Then having a baby at 19 would be hard - my sister didn’t and doesn’t recommend it. 
But also being 32 is hard - you’re older usually more financially stable, so you can get a little more tired. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Just depends on perspective. But I do believe mid to late 20’s is the best time - lets you go out and explore the world before becoming a parent. Doesn’t mean you can’t do both, but’s what I would do.
