Pregnancy Medicaid

So I had Medicaid from my first pregnancy last January but I then had a miscarriage in February. I called and told them so they could cancel it.

Fast forward to May, I’m pregnant again! So I called and they told me they saw where a request to cancel was pushed through but never actually cancelled. Anyway, she said she’d just change the date to fit my new pregnancy.

Now, my card says the effective date is 02/01/19. I’m due 02/15/20 and I’ve heard coverage only lasts a year.. so will I still be covered by my due date? I checked the status of my coverage and it’s all good as of today. But not sure why my effective date would be 02/01/19 when I got pregnant in May 2019..

I also have what I’m assuming is my old insurance card that is effective from “01/08/19” why would they only push it back a month when I got pregnant 3-4 months after I miscarried?

I’m due in a few weeks and don’t want any last minute stress and worries. Although this already feels last minute.

Anyone have any similar situations or know if I will be covered??
