I’m a gatekeeper?? Wth

My boyfriend told my sister her boyfriend is probably just wanting to help take care of her baby that’s why he brought up pumping and bottle feeding.

He went on to tell her that it’s a fact that mothers go through a thing called gatekeeping where they won’t let the fathers help take care of the baby so then the fathers end up tip toeing around the mother and the mother ends up feeling as if she’s doing everything herself...

I’m so pissed.

I grocery shop, cook, clean, never have time to shower, can’t pee or poo without the baby on my lap, feed baby all the meals, change all diapers, do all the baths... and he never even offers help unless I get mad then once in a while I got a “oh I was going to —- or do you want my help” to which I said “I’d always appreciate help”.

He’s feelings are “if someone wants help they’ll ask so if you want me to do something just ask me” and when I’m constantly asking him to do stuff he says “your always ordering me around”

Seriously? Ya must be because I’m an effing gatekeeper trying to be supermom not because your lazy and selfish.
