Overthinking?

so me and my man have a one yr old baby girl && well make 3 years this year in October, I think around July he was asked by his fam when he was gonna propose and he said this year for sure && he was even lookin at me when he said that!!! Now the yr is over and he didn’t propose... I’m sad he didn’t, but maybe he has a reason right?? Like why even say when you’re gonna possibly do it, when I’m around ?!
