Any engineers?

Question

Hello! I've been in college studying criminal justice. I have my AS and was working towards my BS. Anyways, life happened and I went from being an A student to failing 5 classes and getting academically disqualified. I was thinking about going back to community college and looking for a different path. I was interested in engineering but I know there are many types so I would love to hear about what you studied in school, how long it took, what you do and what you make? I need a fresh start.

Engineering can be a long road. If you don’t like and excel in math. Science and computers, you’ll probably dislike every moment of it. It’s significantly different than criminal justice. I’d suggest doing research in your area, speaking with people who work in the field in your state, and looking into shadowing/apprenticeship programs

I'm studying computer engineering but I still have lots time before graduation. But so far I like it. Its not easy but if you're good at maths/programming /writing codes it's much easier to understand the algorithms and everything. 
And there are many types of engineering, it depends on which one do you like.
