Spotting

So this question may seem like something I could’ve just looked up online but everything I’ve read seems to be pretty contradictory. I just had sex for the first time this past week and a few times since then and I’ve noticed that I’ve been spotting a bit these past few days. I have the Nexplanon implant and they told me before I got it that spotting isn’t uncommon, my boyfriend and I have also both been tested and we’re clear so it’s not an STD problem. I know bleeding when you first start having sex is definitely normal but I just wanted to know if this happening through the day is something I should worry about or get checked out?
