Cps call??

Ss6 told me that mommy beats up her bf. That she makes his nose and mouth bleed. I asked him where he and his sister are and he says in the room. I asked what he does and he says sometimes punch *bf name* in the privates cause mommy thinks thays funny and sometimes I just yell at them to stop.

I asked him why this happens and he said sometimes cause mommy thinks *bf nam* is lying to her or hiding money. And other times cause he hurts me(ss) and I tell mommy so she screams at him and beats him up. I asked if mom's bf ever hits mommy and ss said no, mommy just hurts him. *bfs name* will just yell at he ror swear.

He also has said in numerous occasions he gets to help pick punishments when *bfs name* is bad. And that bf has to sleep in the garage with no blankets, but mommy is nice and let's him have a sweatshirt.....

Dh and I know the boyfriend. He's not malicious. Honestly I think the only reason he's still in the picture is cause he loves his kids too much and doesn't wanna risk not getting to see them.

I don't feel like a 6 year old and his sister (no relation to Dh or I who is 2) should be seeing domestic violence and even joining in.

Thoughts cause I want to call cps. But I don't want it to back fire and come back on me seeming like a disgruntled step mom.
