Finally💙💙

Yesterday I went in at 5 am to be induced. When we got there and got hooked up to everything I was actually having contractions and dilated to a tight 3cm but 80% thinned. Being a FTM I knew it could be all day and night before we had a baby. 7:30 am rolls around and my doctor broke my water after having pitocin start at 6:30. Contractions sucked but I was getting through them. But then they got worse and worse and I decided I was no longer just in pain but truly suffering and it wasn’t worth my mental health to not get the epidural. Only issue was I was already at an 8! The bed was wonky somehow and I was actually leaning more on my left side. Getting the epidural hurt worse than labor itself. I screamed and cried like a baby getting it. Once I got it I realized it only number my right side and my leg was hardly even numb. They were waiting for me to become numb before putting the catheter in but I had no time for that because once I got the epidural(that did nothing) I HAD to push. My nurses came in and sure enough it was baby time! I pushed for maybe 30 minutes though it felt like a lifetime and I had my baby boy at 4:57. I felt EVERYTHING labor and birth had to offer. I’m also very proud to say I have no stitches. I hardly tore and it was only first degree and I’m a FTM so I’m impressed with my body and absolutely in love with my boy💙
