Owlet Sock??

Due next week and debating if the Owlet sock is worth it! I’ve heard/read great things! Any experience or reviews?

My midwives said it seems.to cause more panic, stress and worry than good. They dont recommend those or the angel care thing either. But thats their opinion (and I can see why they say thay). 🤷‍♀️

I bought one. I’ve heard great things and I’ve also heard that it can cause unnecessary stress, but honestly, as a FTM, I’d rather have the unnecessary stress with false alarms than have something serious happen and I missed it.

I didn’t end up buying one with my first, even though I heavily debated it, and didn’t really regret it. The thing that swayed me was one of the Safe Sleep class instructor telling us to save our money. She said the best thing we could do to combat SIDS was to follow safe sleep practices and that if the baby had a health concern the doctors were worried about, they would send us home with true medical grade equipment.
My friend was gifted one and she said after the first couple weeks she only used it on nights when she was feeling extra anxious - like if she felt her son was off his norm or had gotten shots that day. 
I have considered it with our second, but I don’t think we’ll be purchasing one.

My owlet sock monitor was literally my favorite baby item with my first. I honestly don’t think I would have gotten any sleep at all if we didn’t have it. I would spend the money all over again to have that peace of mind.

I have one and I love it! It gives me such peace of mind. My little one is almost 3 weeks old, I originally bought it and kept it wrapped and told myself I would decide once he was here and see how I felt. I opened it the 3rd night in and I have slept much better, i also like that it tracks his sleep pattern as well.
