Anyone else’s baby have gas pains?

Baby gulps a bunch of air when breastfeeding, has been spitting up past couple days, and usually at night is when he gets sort of inconsolable. We’re trying gripe water and gas pain drops, tummy massage, and bicycle exercises. He’ll cry til the gas is out which can take a while. Anyone have experience dealing with this? Anything that’s worked for you? Would really appreciate any and all help!

Yes, baby is 4 weeks now and we were experiencing this not long ago. For some reason it seems to have gotten better now. When we burp him, he’ll release some strong burps where as before it took a very long time & sometime no burp would be released.  
The trapped gas caused baby lots of discomfort and crying & fussiness. Gripe water helped in the momrnt but after another feeding session the gas & discomfort would come back. 
I have a fast let down so the milk was practically gushing into baby’s mouth & he was trying to keep up but swallowed a lot of air in. I started sitting baby up for feedings and leaning back so gravity can pull milk down into belly and to help ease my let down. our doc said that their digestive systems are very new and still learning how to process stuff. Baby now grunts & squirms a ton in his sleep. Doc says that this is because they are learning to pass gas & he maybe trying to push it out etc & that as long as baby is sleeping while grunting, to just let him be & not wale him up. She said gripe water was fine, and to continue to hold baby upright while feedings & do the tummy massages & bicycle exercises. 
I hipe he’s grown out of it cuz it’s hella frustrating to have baby in pain 😣

Gas drops, gripe water. I have to burp her frequently during a feed, I've been able to get her to burp more if I rub up her back versus patting. Worked for my son as well. Dairy could also be part of the problem, there is a list of foods that can make them gassy maybe check out your diet

The only thing that fixed my sons gas was 1. Me cutting dairy out of my diet and 2. Frida baby Windii
I thought it was the weirdest thing but got one as a sample and used it out of desperation, it was amazing. Bicycle legs and massage never did anything for him, it’s crazy bc when we do I bicycles with my newborn now he farts like 15x so I guess they work for some babies, just not my first!

Obviously don’t put a baby to sleep on their side, but holding then laying on their side can help, it changes the pressure in the body and makes farting easier. It works on big people too. My FIL actually bestowed this wisdom to me!

I didn’t have this issue with my first two but I’ve got a ton of milk this time around so baby is gulping more.  He’ll spit up now and again but the ped said as long as he’s not upset while doing it - it’s just fine.  We have had luck just holding him upright and letting him burp.  A couple good burps and he’s just fine again.

Following, we are dealing with the same thing and breastfeeding as well. Most of what I read is about bottle feeding so IDK.
