So that was a thing..😅

 I have an interesting story to tell

So just the other day my boyfriend and I decided to go on a date to the mall. We just ate, and we decided we wanted to go to the gaming store there because were both kind of nerds😂

So we’re walking down the mall and we’re holding hands and we passed by a black man with his son. And I’ll never forget the look on his face when he looked at us. He goes “woah... WOAH!!”

And we were so confused at first, was he looking at us? Did we do something?

A huge smile appears on his face and he starts clapping and he’s like “YEAH!!! THATS WHAT I LIKE TO SEE!!”

Now, of course I’m clueless but my boyfriend starts laughing and clapping back and he grabbed me and pulled me into a big hug and the other man starts cheering some more. My boyfriend tells him to have a great day and they wave and we keep walking. And then it hits me... “oh my god we’re an interracial couple and that man was so happy about it” 😂

Until that moment I never really thought about it.

I knew that I was black and my boyfriend was white but It never really dawned on me that we were seen as an “interracial couple”

What a day that was lmao
