Hsg test....insurance dosnt cover it so what now?

So I had my 6 month follow up with my doc and she said I can go get an hsg test which sends dye up my uterus and helps to see if there’s anything blocked.

Come to find out the place she reccomends dosnt take my insurance. Then I find out any hsg test is not covered by insurance and it’s between $1400-$2500.

So what now? I’m not dropping $2500 on ONE test...sorry.

Anyone else have experience with testing and screenings?

I have a regular period, I get an lh surge the same time every month. So I’m thinking maybe just get my husbands sperm tests. Just so frustrating that I went to my doc and had to pay out of pocket for this appt and got nothing out of it.
