My rainbow baby is finally here ❣️❣️

amanda

On January 6th my water broke at 7:06 pm. We headed straight to the hospital. (as I was told because I was positive for gbs in a previous pregnancy and still had to have antibiotics). Around 9 I had attempted to get the epidural but my blood pressure dropped below 40, my oxygen level dropped, and I passed out. So that was a no go. It was horrifying. My only thoughts when waking up was I could have left my kids without a mom and it broke my heart. I got to 6.5cm in my own (which is huge for me cause in my other 2 pregnancy’s I couldn’t even get passed a 1 and had to be induced every other time ) after being at a 6.5 for a few hours they started Pitocin. Contractions got super intense but my older boys (one is 3 and one is 1 ) helped me stay calm and loved on me through it😍 I’m forever greatful for them! After 16 hours of labor my sweet baby JJ was born at 11:13 January 7th! I cut his cord on my own and my boys met him seconds later (as they where in the room when I had him which also wasn’t planned but the pushing part came so fast and the room was full )

This of course is after the nurse held his head in and told me I couldn’t push tell the doctor arrived leaving the top of my baby’s head bruised :( (I did file a complaint with the hospital)

I’m so glade he is here ! 7 pounds 10 ounces 19 inches long strawberry blond hair and he is perfect
