Carrier or double stroller?

Question

I’m currently due in may with my first turning 18 months when he is born. I went to buy buy baby and I tested almost all the double strollers and I hate them! Lol. They all so dam big. I’m asking all the 2 under 2 moms which is a must: a carrier or do I have to get a double stroller. I go out a lot. I hate staying in the house and I’m moving to GA so it’s gunna be warm temps. Also if anyone has advice or other items that are a must with 2 under 2 it would be appreciated! Thank you!

City Mini gt side by side and Tula free to grow. 
The only store it’s too big for us Harmon by me bc the aisles are like 2 feet. I’ve never met a door I can’t fit through and it’s awesome bc my older one can get him himself. My baby could fit in it at 3/4 months bc it reclines flat.

This is the stroller car seat combo I got that colapses fairly well for a double and loved it!!! I have an almost 2 year old and a 6 month old and this saved our lives for our Disneyland trip. As far as not wanting to pack something this big around for daily outings I recommend getting a wrap (I have a boba wrap). That’s the only way I managed getting errands done. I bought the Nuna Demi Grow for my newborn and 18 month old. I find it essential since the toddler doesn’t walk that far and still likes the stroller.  She’s a big fan of this one which is real comfy - it’s basically a hotel on wheels. It seemed to be the most compact of the doubles strollers, but it comes at a price. You lose the basket when used in double mode and the lower seat is super close to the ground although that doesn’t seem to bother anyone.  A big plus for you if you got this one with your move to GA is that the seat padding zips off for a cooler mesh seat. The shade is pretty big and there an additional dream-drape for even more sun blockage.  There are also two shock levels so you can smooth out bumpier terrain.  It does take up my entire car trunk if I want to take it anywhere, but I think that’s just the nature of double strollers.
I also own a moby wrap, ergo and ring sling.  I think carries serve a different but very important purpose and use them in addition to the stroller.  I always throw the ring sling in the stroller just in case.
Overall it’s been great for me!
