Would any of these be safe to give to my 16 month old that’s sick without a doctors approval ?
My poor 16 month old has a bad cold. He’s all congested and has a dry cough. I personally have a bad cold I feel absolutely horrible! So I can only imagine how he feels. I’ve been taking DayQuil, having halls, and vitamin C. But there’s nothing I can really give my poor baby.
I’m so so worried about tonight. I know he’s probably not going to sleep, and with me feeling like sh*t this just won’t be fun! I’m going to run a humidifier in his room instead of mine tonight, I’m going to give him a warm bath, I’m going to use baby Vick’s on his chest, back, and feet, and I’m going to use the saline spray and nose Frita all before bed time.
But I was wondering if any of these would be safe to give without a doctors approval? I don’t have a personal email or phone number for his doctor, I can’t ask any questions over the phone, and I have to book months in advance to see him. it’s honestly super inconvenient. I could go to a walk in, but they’re all closed right now. I could go to the hospital but I’ll be there for hours and I feel like it’ll make everything worse.
So I’m just wondering if it would be ok? Im not 100% sure if The Zarbees is in Canada or not (where I’m from) so if not, I’ll be buying the other one. What do you think? Im a first time mama, so I’m a little worried!
