soo i just found out i have insulin resistance, that’s all the information i got. does being insulin resistant 100% mean i will have trouble conceiving ? does it mean i will have trouble at all? i guess what i’m asking is does being insulin resistant most likely mean i will have fertility issues ??
i am on birth control at the moment but in the near future i want to have kids so badly.. my periods are somewhat irregular but i get my period on time more than not

I wouldn't say it's a 100% guarantee that you will have trouble, but it is a very common reason for fertility troubles.  I have insulin resistance, have never had regular cycles, and it took us 3.5 years and ivf to get pregnant.

Here's what I found with a simple search on google. Also, you may want to find a new doctor since he left you in complete darkness with your condition.

So, I'd buy opks and go from there. If you aren't able to find ovulation, I'd see a new doctor who gives you actual information.
